Alignment with the Divisional MTP 2013-2015 & Strategic work plan 2014

NEN's grant programme is guided by the Divisional MTP 2012-2015 and the Strategic Work Plan 2014.

The grant programme emphasizes:

• innovation in agricultural technologies for NRM;

• knowledge generation and dissemination within and across the sub-regions, particularly based on IFAD’s rural finance and equity investment experiences in CEN;

• development of new methodologies and approaches for gender mainstreaming, and creation of job opportunities for rural youth;

• new products and services for MICs, with emphasis on south-south and triangular cooperation; and

• fostering of new partnerships for development.
