Objectives of my presentation

To identify clearly what is the Coastal zone.

To explain importance of these zones. To define the coastal pollution. To identify sources of coastal pollution. And identify ways, can prevent the

coastal pollution.

My Goal

“Create a discussion about coastal conservation

And prevention the coastal pollution.”

Coastal zone

A place of land meet sea.

where the land finishes and the sea begins.

Coast conservation Act No. 57 of 1981

“that area lying within a limit of three hundred meters landwards of the mean high water line and a limit and a limit of two kilometers seaward of the mean low water line and in the case of rivers, streams, lagoons, or any other body if water connected to the sea either permanently or periodically, the landward boundary shall extend to a limit of two kilometers measured perpendicularly to the straight baseline drawn between the natural entrance points thereof and shall include the waters of such rivers, streams and lagoons or any other body of water so connected to the sea”

What is the major source?

Impacts of coastal pollution

Destroyed coastal eco systems and animal live in there. Bad effect for tourism industry. Decrease the fisheries income Dangerous species may become common, causing health

problems, and interfering with tourism and fisheries Disturb for relaxing and recreation

Prevention of pollution..

Government, organizations, people had taken many action for protect the coastal zone…..

But it’s not success yet…There has a only one solution for protect it.
