TEchNiqUE UsiNg TRAcER gAsEs

Detects leaks with a tracer gas (helium or hydrogen), that has no impact on either water quality or health. This gas is injected into the water pipe and comes out in case of a leak. Very small holes are then drilled above the pipe, so that gas can escape through impermeable ground layers. Thus, unusual concentrations of tracer gas can be detected from the surface.
