EXPOSUREIn the preliminary task, we weren’t sure how to get the camera to use the camera properly so we had a limited exposure range. But since then we learnt how to change the exposure on the camera so that it isn’t over/under exposed.

SHOT REACTION SHOTS

In the preliminary task, I/we forgot to use shot reaction shots. So when the person tells the other person he’s his dad you don’t see the reaction. Then when we got to doing the film opening we remembered to use shot reaction shots and so when the masked villain appears you do get to see the reaction from the victim.

180 DEGREE RULEIn the preliminary task we didn’t use the 180 degree rule and broke it as we forgot about it. But then in the film opening we remembered it and used it.

DUTCH TILT/TILTED ANGLE AND USING VARIED SHOT TYPESIn the Preliminary task we didn’t use many varied shot types as we were quite new to the idea. But as time went by and we went onto the film opening, we were more open to using different shot types and so got a quite nice tilted angle shot as the film title.

MATCH ON ACTION

In the preliminary task we didn’t use any match on action techniques. So we then put one in our film opening when Brad (The character) was opening the door to the park/football section.
