• Trailers shown on various channels –timeslots /played during specific programmes with similar audiences to that of the film’s targeted audience

• Channels (such as ITV and Channel 4)are payed by the film’s marketing department to have the trailers played- and are shown at specific timeslots ,however many times as the channel allows depending on how much is payed.

Active product placement • Adverts made various products within the film for instance the Volvo car

in twilight which is used for the Volvo advert that uses footage from film as well as similar font used within the Twilight: eclipse trailer to show the brands connection to the movie franchise (campaign consistency)
