Text of Toxic Aegis

  • Toxic Aegis The Toxic Conjurer creates a caustic (Burning) cloud that will damage

    all enemies that pass through it.

  • Many players have the Toxic Conjurer in great quantities in their inventories or cities.

    A powerful troop with high Range and good Life stats that can be paired very well with Plague Doctors on Defense but also with the other Spellcasters like Shield Sorcerors.

    On Attack they pair very well with Range(d) Troops & Spellcasters.

    The Toxic is also high on the Range(d) Troop Priority List (n10) so having some Toxics in an Attack wave or on Defense is excellent.

    For example, the Toxic is Ranked 10 and the Flame Archer is Ranked 13. Sending Toxics can therefore deflect Attacks for a round ( or more) from the Flame Archers and thus allowing your Flame Archers to shoot unchallenged or less challenged.

  • Since Aegis is a synonym for Defense, I will show what Toxics can do against High Defense / Attack debuff Presets. Most Commonly seen in Horsed Troop Attacks. ( Cav runs)

    Skills: The acidic cloud deals damage to enemy units based on the Toxic

    Conjurer's remaining Life

    Skills: Their poison deals damage every turn based on the Plague Doctor's Attack

    - Champion was present in Attack, No Champion on Defense!

    Instead of using Plague Doctors, Not everyone has them, Shield Sorcerors and Soul Stealers were used on Defense alongside the Toxics.

  • Again no Champion on Defense.

    All 3 Spellcasters generate an effect.

  • Report 5 ( Its not invincible)

  • Here it fails and due to the Champion. A previous exact run with Champion

    up on my side won. Without the Champion defending it failed because the

    unopposed Champion on Attack, had Champion Troop Buffs for Combat

    Speed in Buff & debuff for example.

  • Notes: The Spellcasters on Defense were always sacced. Thus Sacced

    Toxics & Plague Doctors.

    You want to use a High Attack / Range with Spellpower preset so you

    can engage them from afar. If you do not create the Range buffer and

    the horsed troops are in Range with their attack debuff, you risk that

    your Attack stats are debuffed.

    In the Reports with Shield Sorcerors & Toxics, those were the sacced

    troops.

    ON all Attacks the Hussars and Siegewalls were sacced.

    It highlights that these troops by themselves can stand their ground

    against high Defense, Attack Debuff , attack runs.

    You can always back them up with Range(d) Troops, like Flame

    Archers or Catapults or other Siege or Ranged Troops.

    Again it is a Preset and offered as a suggestion or idea to have. It is

    trivial however that you Improve , Alter or Enhance this Preset to your

    own liking, or needs or possibilities. There are hardly any Presets that

    are invincible, all depends on opponent.

  • Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but

    it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

    a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.

    More attacking and defending means lively domains full of activity.
