The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5PART TWO

Page 2: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Welcome back! Even though I released both parts of this Chapter back to back, here’s a slight recap anyway:--Troy and Rayne died of old age (and poor Volterra is so sad!)--Alec married Maura, a vampire, who also bit him and made him become a vampire.--Bella’s dreams became more vivid, and Alice is ignoring her. As well as Aro.--Alec’s plan to end the DeLightful Clan is still underway.

Alright, on with the (short) show! Next slide, please.

Page 3: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Blue, did you hear about those vampires getting into Riverblossom Hills?”“Yeah, I was watching the newscast with Mom.”“I really hate vampires…they go against nature.”“I think they’re interesting…”

Page 4: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Well, interesting until they suck your blood…Check mate.”

Page 5: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Aro? Don’t you want to get to bed? It’s pretty late…“I’m just thinking…”And piano helps you do that?“No…it helps me to stop.”I’m confused.

Page 6: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Daisy, what if those dreams Bella has been having are some sort of clue? Some type of…link or something. I don’t understand why she of all people is having dreams like that. And I wish I could see into her mind, but I can’t…her mind is guarded by something. Alec planned this fantastically, I’ll give him that. I’m sad about my parents, and frustrated that Bella’s trying to figure this out…and angry, because Alec and I used to be close, and now he’s threatening to kill my family.”

So…kill him.

“Looks like it might end up that way…”

Page 7: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

The kids woke up in the middle of the night, they couldn’t sleep because the death of their grandparents was on their minds.Blue: “Gosh…Grandpa taught me how to play piano and paint…I wish I would have spent even more time with him.”Billy: “I barely remember them…I did spend time with Grandma in the garden but that was when I was still a little kid…”“Yeah, Grandma was so obsessed with that garden of hers. What was she planting now?”“Peppers…”

Page 8: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Guys, we need to talk to Alice.”Blue: “Here we go…”“I’m serious, Blue. Something’s not right. Did you see Dad tonight? No, you didn’t. Before I came in here, he was just now going to bed. And the look on his face…it was like he wanted to strangle something.”Blue: “Bell, he’s mad that his parents died.”“So he wants to strangle something!? No…it has to do with uncle Alec.”

Page 9: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“You know, I overheard Dad talking with Alice on the phone last night. He kept saying something about how they needed to find Alec quickly or else we’d all suffer consequences. And he was mumbling something about how he wasn’t a fan of putting his family in danger.”Bella: “See, Blue! Alec’s trying to do something to us…”Billy: “Yeah, and we’re not going to let it happen, of course.”

Page 10: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Blue: “Alright…you know what? You both are lunatics. Stop trying to figure out things that aren’t there. And Bella, stop turning Dad’s grief into something completely stupid. Unlike you all, I’m actually mourning the death of our grandparents. Maybe I was the only one that loved them. I’m getting something to eat. If you all are going to keep speculating about nothing then do it when I’m not in the room…”

Page 11: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Hey, don’t worry about it Bells. I believe you.”“Why is Blue being such a jerk, though?”“He’s sad about our grandparents…he doesn’t like to focus on too many things. Just leave him alone.”“Billy, I know something’s going on.”“Me too, Bella. Me too.”

Page 12: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

*silence*“Bella, you’ve barely touched your food.”“I’m not that hungry.”“Well, you have to eat something…”“Dad, where’s Alice?”

*silence*Billy: “Well, I’m going to take a shower!”

Page 13: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Dad I know something’s up. I’m not stupid. You walk around here talking in whispers with Mom and then you’re on the phone with Alice twenty-four seven. And the last time we had family over was Blue’s birthday, way back. I thought you’d throw me a birthday party, or at least Billy one. And When I called Alice the other day—”

Page 14: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Bella, you called Alice? What’s wrong with you?”“Dad, she is my aunt, I have every right to—”“When I told you there was nothing to worry about I meant there is nothing to worry about!”“What’s the big deal about me calling Alice?! It’s not like she told me anything.”“That’s irrelevant. You need to keep out of certain things. Some things don’t concern you. Maybe you should stop being so selfish thinking that every little problem revolves around you.”“I am not selfish, Dad!”

Page 15: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Alright, if you’re not selfish, then what are you?”“Worried!”“*clenches fist* There. Is. Nothing. To. Worry. About.”“How many times are you going to keep telling yourself that?”

*silence*

Page 16: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Heated argument this morning at breakfast, huh, Aro?“I wouldn’t classify that as an argument…”Well, don’t worry about it. She’s a teenager. Anyway, you’re growing up tonight!“Really…”Yep. You could be a little more enthusiastic.“…”Right…okay. Go inside!

Page 17: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Eh…I believe Aro’s about to lose some of his female fans….next stop, saggy-ville!

Page 18: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Haha…oh man. Well, he looks more like how I picture Aro while reading the book. Except the hair. Aro has black hair in the book, so right now he looks more like a different leader of the Volturi…I’m not saying names because it will spoil a generation to come.

I really do wish his hair could be black!

Page 19: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Eric? What are you doing up her in the middle of the night?”“What, you’re not happy to see me?”“I am…it’s just a little late, and if my Dad catches you out here—”“Don’t worry, I have a reason to be here.”“Oh, and what’s that? Wait! Let me guess…”

Page 20: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

<3

He’s very opposite of her, though. He’s sort of a punk, and she’s…well, not.

Page 21: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Blue, looks like your friend is liking Bells a little too much out there.”“Bella can take care of herself. She does know everything…”“I don’t know about Eric, man…”“Well, let’s just hope for his sake Dad doesn’t come out there. Or else he’ll be throwing some punches like this.”“Yeah, and let’s hope Dad’s punches aren’t as weak as yours!”“Alright, keep talking, Nature Boy. We’ll see whose eyes will be black.”“Obviously you won’t see, because yours will be too puffy and swollen to see out of!”

Page 22: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Bella, you sure about this Eric boy? He’s a little shady to me…

“He’s wonderful…mhmmmfmfmggmm”

Ew.

Page 23: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

They’re going to steady now.

And when he left, he fell in love with her. But I didn’t take a picture because I was focusing on feeding Volterra. But I heard the sound! And of course in true DeLightful tradition, Bella didn’t fall in love with him at the same time.

Page 24: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

The next morning!“Roses? What does the card say…”

These roses aren’t as beautiful as you, but they are a representation of you. Bella, you can stop all communication in the world with your beauty –Eric“Stop all communication? Alright…never heard that one. But that was sweet—oh, there’s another card.”

Bella, if Eric ever comes here past seven p.m., there will be repercussions.—Aro

Those roses look familiar don’t they?

Page 25: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Aro, the kids are leaving today…”“Yes, it will be pretty empty around here.”“I’m not that sad.”“Me neither.”“When I get back from work, it’s going to be me, you, and a hot tub!”

Gross.

Page 26: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Just remember, Eric. Next time you come in this place, I will know. This house is wired, okay?”“Yeah, it’s pretty wired, all right.”“What was that, young man.”“I said yes, sir. Alright.”“I know you’re kind, Eric. I’ve killed them, too.”Bella: “Dad! Cut it out!”

I just realized that if I say I’m omnipotent , Troy won’t be there to scold me. Troy, why did you have to die!?!? D:

Page 27: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Hey, SSU? Get some taxis up here. We’re heading out.”“Oh no! They’re coming back! Quick, get the Vaseline and baseball bat.”“No, it’s not Alec, Aro, and Alice this time. It’s Blue, Bella, and Billy…”“The unknown! That’s even scarier! The DeLightfuls are coming! Ahhhhh!”

I wonder why they fear the DeLightfuls so much… :D

Page 28: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Goodbye teenagers! Hello University! It’s going to be great.

Or will it!? Another slide, please.

Page 29: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Yo! Alice!“Daisy, where’s Aro?”Inside. What’s wrong?“I saw something terrible. Probably the worst thing Alec could have done.”

*gasp*

Page 30: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Did the kids leave yet!?”“Yes, Alice. What’s wrong?”“Damn it! Tracy, Aro…Alec is a vampire. I didn’t see when he became one, but I did see him create two vampires. But these are different…”Aro: “How are they different.”“These two are the offspring of him and his wife.”Tracy: “When did he get married!?”“He got married to the vampire that changed him. And…they had twin girls. I don’t know their names, though. Alec is being careful not to acknowledge them by their names.”

Page 31: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Also, he was the one behind the killings of those people last week. And, I hate to say it, but he’s also using Bella’s boyfriend to get information out of you all.”Aro: “How!?”“Eric planted something in the house. I don’t exactly know what it does though. Maybe it’s a wire tapper. So you can’t call the kids at University, otherwise Alec may hear what you’re saying.”“Well, then we can drive up there, right?”Tracy: “No. They closed off Downtown. You have to go through Downtown to get to SSU. And they closed off all of those streets to keep Vampires out…of course they’re too late. The problem is right here in Riverblossom.”

Page 32: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“I don’t care if Alec can hear me! I want him to. I need to tell my kids.”*dials number*“We’re sorry. But you’re phone has been disconnected. You could try calling SimCity Phone Company for further information on a different connection. Goodbye.”“He didn’t plant a bug so that he could hear us. He planted something that stops all communication… Damn that Eric! He gave us a freaking clue! It’s in the roses.”

You’re thinking, “Get rid of the roses, then” Right? Can’t do that, dears. The spores are all over the house, now. Yep. Spores. Alec doesn’t use wires. He uses magic!

Page 33: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Good job on finding that boy Eric, love.”“I killed his mother. He’s frightened of me.”“And I must say, the girls did excellent on killing those Audrey…”

*cue flashback*

Page 34: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

Alec: “Audrey was getting fairly annoying, coming here and knocking down the trashcan. I didn’t want her blood on my hands—excuse the phrase—so I decided she could be the first taste of blood the girls got.”

Maura: “They did well. Though Audrey did get out of the fire…the girls need to be a bit more careful. Now the News stations are on to us Vampires. But there attempts are poor. As if a few blocked streets could stop Vampires from getting in and out of Riverblossom…hahaha!”

Page 35: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“They filled the pit in the next day, didn’t they, Alec?”“Yes, partially. They didn’t want people thinking that nothing happened there at all. Because if they filled it in too perfectly, everyone would know that Vampires are in Riverblossom. But they won’t find us, dear. We’re too elusive.”“Mhm, right you are.”

Page 36: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Part one of my plan is complete, Maura. Now the fun part comes. The killing games begin.”

Page 37: The DeLightful Legacy- Chapter 5, Part Two

“Come, Heidi…it’s time to kill some human DeLightfuls.”“Good, Jane. I’m thirsty…”

(Jane and Heidi are from the Volturi. Jane is the one most of you have seen in the previews of New Moon. She’s the one that can stare at someone and cause pain, and the twin to Alec, coincidentally. Heidi fishes humans from the world and takes them to the Volturi castle to be eaten. She’s very beautiful and captivating, and humans are drawn to her, especially males because she wears revealing outfits.)

Alright. Go vote and tell me what you think about Jane and Heidi. I was going to use those names for the actual legacy family, but I have way too many other names for J and H, so I narrowed it down pretty well, I must say. Alright, thanks for reading this short one!
