The close up of her face shows that she is wearing a lot of make up which also suggests that she represents a popular social group and wants to look attractive to other class members.

Her father also looks quite sophisticated and well off which suggests his daughter might be of the same social group.

This character is very intelligent and represents a social group of quite nerdy and clever teenagers. His mother can be heard talking about him needing to study during the detention and she is not pleased that he has been given a detention in the first place.

He doesn’t seem to be wearing very trendy clothes which also suggests he represents a nerdy and not popular social group

The music playing at this point is very trendy and popular at the time and adds to the representation of that is teenagers.

Here we see the school thug. He represents the social group of hardcore youth thugs and he wears drug dealer clothing, sunglasses, and gloves which all add to the representation of him being rough.

He also touches everything and knocks over a few things that are on the desk. This shows that he has no respect and care for anything else and again shows how he is a thug and not a nice social group.
