What’s next in 2011 and beyond
• Transmedia storytelling extending the message across platforms , using the best attributes of each format to deepen the storyline
• Using tech to transform the experience: motion technology, location-based technology, (GPS sensing to add to the play value) augmented reality, 3D, BE the experience, engaging all the senses.
• Continued evolution of gaming: intergenerational, competitive vs. cooperative rules, format changes, quick-play vs. extended play, brainwave play
• Integrated touchpoints : Using the accelerometer, shake, pinch, zoom and swipe technologies in toys. Building in multi-touch screens and multiple user simultaneous interfaces. Adding wireless tech for automatic software updates
