Target Audience

Different stereotypes

There are several main things that I need to cosider when defining my target audience. Such as the following:

Chavs are such beautiful creatures haha (I feel I should mention I was being sarcastic, as obviously you cannot hear the tone of my voice)

Normal ....ME!

Only joking. There’s no such thing as ‘normal’.

But stereotypes need to be considered. Because by creating a TA, I am stereotyping people, assuming that they are a specific way, just because of their appearance.

Gender

Female

Sterotypically, women are going to be more attracted to good looking men. But may feel intimidated by attractive women.

Male

Similarly, men tend to be attracted to good looking women, but may feel jealous of good looking men.

Age

young

Younger audiences tend to enjoy more upbeat, fun songs. And also artists that reseble these qualities.

teenagerTeenagers are hard ones, I have to admit. I am one and I still dont understand them!!

They can enjoy any genre of music really. But when it comes down to appearances, well, its abit abvious.

Any teenage boy dribbles at the sight of an attractive woman in minimal clothing, so that it what sells to them. Similarly, teenage girls love cute looking males.

Older people – middle age

Middle age people tend to enjoy music similar to what they grew up with. Or they try and be ‘cool’ and listen to chart music.

Golden Oldies

Dont get me wrong, I love old people! But the majority of them listen to suchhhhhhh boring music. Its all Beethoven and Mozart!!!! Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Socio-economic group – ABC1
