1. Step Ezz performed his first talent show at the age of
eleven years old. He received a standing ovation and first place.
Since then, Step has performed in multiple events, including
opening for Reggae artist Shaggy at the New Years Day Fed-Ex Orange
Bowl Beach Bash. StepEzz brought the house down with standing
ovations at each event.(see list of events at bottom of BIO). He
has performed at numerous free style competitions in Florida honing
his skills to become the performer he is today..
2. In 2006 Step Ezz released his first single entitled Rippin
305 (currently has eight songs recorded on his first album released
in late 2006 , and is recording multiple songs for his new album to
be released in early summer of 2009. Step Ezz has become a friend
of the community by donating much of his time and efforts to
perform and fund raise at local charity events. There are Two of
the causes that he keeps close to his chest. The first being the,
Stay at school & Learn to Vote tour, which he created to raise
the importance of education while encouraging them to stay in
school as part this tour Step Ezz also educates the students on the
importance of Voting when they reach the age of 18. So the leaders
of tomorrow, will have paved a way of their own future. With the
election of President Barack Obama, now is the time for the African
American community to stand up for itself and take the reachable
opportunitys that are within our grasp. Now is the time to show the
world that we are all just equals here on this Earth. The second
cause that Step Ezz works tirelessly for with his mother and
manager, Elegant from Elegeant Entertainment (sho was a teen mom),
is the non for profit Wings for Life. Wings for Life, is an
organization that offers shelter and education for troubled teen
mothers. Step Ezz sponsored the very successful 1st annual Wings
for Life Red Carpet Celebration on December 19th 2008. The event
raised thousands of dollars for the Wings for life program. Step
Ezz independently sold thousands of units on street corners, gas
stations, car washes, where ever and when ever he could. Now Step
Ezz is a household name in South Florida and with the innovative
marketing strategies that Elegeant his mom is doing presently, I.E.
Step Ezz bottled water sold at every event and in local markets. .
Step is ready to move on to the national stage. Step Ezz will
continue his service work as a community organizer till the day God
says that his work is done. This confident positive rapper has
already been recognized as an up and coming shooting star by such
artists as Ludacris, Sean Kingston, and Little Wayne. In March 2007
Step Ezz did a cameo featured in Ludacriss video SLAP portrayed as
a car thief. In October 2007 Step Ezz did a cameo in Sean Kingstons
Ill take you there music video.
3. In 2007 Step Ezz modeled for the 2007 Childrens Trust Fund
and Health Connect that features local talent on posters. These
posters are distributed and located in over 685 schools across Dade
and Broward County. As part of Health connect Step Ezz goes to
schools to speak to the students about the pitfalls of sexually
transmitted diseases. His main goal is to promote abstinence. In
June 2009 Step Ezz has been cast in a feature film Sips of Regrets
from Lions Gate and Warner Brothers. Step will play a drug dealer
named T (explaination of theme of Movie). Steps song Sitting on 24s
will be a featured part of the movies soundtrack. Step Ezzs Dream:
to teach inner city youth about Stepping up to grab their dream. I
will educate them on the many opportunities that we proud African
American people of the United States have. We can choose any path
of life that their steps choose to take them. But they need to
Step! Whether it be the music industry, or another path, I will
help them enhance their craft to one day become a great success. I
will always educate myself to help send them in the right direction
so they can have the God Given Right of opportunity to grow and
flourish and continue their dream.. Remember Step Ezz July 2007 a
performance at Zoes Summer Groove block party rocked over 1000+.
That day was so crazy that even icon Price Markie D from the
103.5the beat Miami he ripped it. Seventeen-year-old plans to step
into the music industry nationally like never before relating to
every day issues that the young society faces. Step Ezzs music and
lyrics will be therapy for the young and even the older generation.
Step Ezz, a leader and prospective role model in the Homestead
community. Step Ezz is constantly trying his best to earn the key
to the City. A very important goal is to assist the needy people in
South Africa by any means necessary. Hoping to one day attend
college to educate himself on the business aspects of the Musical
Industry. In 2004 he performed for Quarter Mile Style Car Show. In
2005 he performed at the MLK Keep the Dream Alive Concert. July 4,
2005, performed at Charles Hadley Park Celebration of Independence
Day. In 2006 Step Ezz recorded a jingle for Revelation Flea Market
in Naranja, Florida that was a televised commercial that aired on
BET Adelphia Cable Network. He performed as a special guest for
Homestead and South Dade football game after party
4. That same year he performed at the Uncle Al Peace in the
hood Festival. In 2007 Step Ezz performed as a headliner at the
Homesteads Martin Luther King Show. He nailed that show, fans were
moving like never before, asking for autographs on posters, shirts
and even their flesh. he leavehas thatStep Ezz hustled to get his
name and music out to as many people that were willing to listen
and some times even the ones that werent. alreadywent to inner city
Miami two days later and ripped the stage a second time leaving the
same affect.
