giving off an aura of not caring which is also a key theme in the lyrics of Neck Deeps music and also in other pop-punk bands.

• The images show how their image has changed as the look of the genre has. The image on the left from 2000 shows the band with messy hair, baggy jeans and shorts, and the image below from 2013 shows how the bands image has changed to darker clothes, shorter hair and hats.

• In both images the members have tattoos showing that some features of the genre have remained the same as tattoos are an iconic part of the rock/pop-punk image and for this reasons many pop-punk band members wear short sleeved t-shirts to highlight this.
