Dialogue is when a person is speaking out loud either to themselves or other people.

Music composed to accompany the action or dialogue of a drama or to fill intervals between scenes or acts.

What is the function of sound in TV dramas?-Sound helps create an atmosphere for the audience guiding them to what emotion they should be feeling. It is also used to identify what type of genre the drama is e.g. in a police drama there will be police sirens used repeatedly.
