This helps to set the scene for the film, with the backstreets shows that it is not a high-end film such as Cloverfield and with the black and white film it

seems to demonstrate the right ( white) and the bad (black) and try's to find a common balance, by using certain characters

This shows one of the main characters with nobody to turn to, and shows the type of lifestyle that people in this area of England live in, and what he is

trying to escape

This shows reiterates the statement with I made in the previous slide, the whole thing about social realism is that you see the character/s in a bad

situation and then it shows them on a sort of self discovery, this slide shows the start of this process.

This shows one of the meeting of two of the main characters, with their friendship starting to form the self discovery and with the different

nationalities of these two, it also shows a different type of discovery and gives a reflection of the different life styles.

This shows the last of the main characters but in the trailer she seems to not be as important as the two males, but even she adds a contrast between

them; not only in gender but also in race and also in age as well.

This shows the two friends almost reverting back to what the first character was trying to escape from, but it seems to have followed him. This also shows

that they are still only young; along with the fact that they have let themselves go.

This shows the father of the polish boy being angry at the other male character that is wrongly influencing his son to go down the wrong path in life. The father could be seen as the enforcer of the new life style the main

character is trying to lead.

This shows the two male characters going out of their way into making the female character happy, and to show her a different variation of a good time

( this contrasts against their previous idea) and shows a different side to them, and could be seen as them trying to improve.

This shows the two main characters reactions after they made the female characters by showing her a side of London that she had not realised or had ever seen before; this is a normal setting and a normal excited reaction from

the boys, and still shows that they are young teens.
