When & where did she start

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on February 2, 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Her artistic career started in 1981, when she was 4 years old. She started dancind arabic dance and it was her first contact with the public.

First song and first album

• Her first album was colled ‘’Magia’’, it was made when Shakira was 13 years, and her second album was called ‘’Peligro’’, when she was 15 years.

• When he was just 8 years he composed his first song, called “Tus gafas oscuras", a song that was dedicated to her father

Her awards• Shakira has

approximately 276 awards, including two Grammys Awards and ten Latin Grammys Awards.

• She also has about 310 awards nominations.

My opinion about her• I like her music because I

think that her songs are very danceable and her lyrics are good. She has a very special voice and very few people can dance as she dances.

• Shakira is a very good person, she has created a charity fundation called Pies Descalzos for children in Colombia.
