My science experiment is: Can distractions help relieve pain?

The materials I had to get were these:Water

The control test was where you stuck your foot into ice water with no distractions.

Conclusion

I was half correct. The majority of people do better with video games. Reading must not help because you are not interacting with anything. You will end up focusing on the pain, not the words.
