Romulo Pires is among the sexiest men alive. His many fans think so, the luxury brands that hire him to represent them think so, and now People Magazine thinks so, too. He’s in good company with Jude Law, Johnny Depp, and Matt Damon. At 6’2” tall with lush brown hair, piercing green eyes and a chiseled jaw that could rival any statue standing in Rome, Romulo Pires is by all intents and purposes, a walking, breathing Italian-Brazilian god.

On top of being easy on the eyes, Romulo is also easy-going and good with his hands. Before becoming a model, he was working as a mechanic in Brasilia. Romulo talked about his first brush with modeling, “I was working as a mechanic when a woman, Marina Sakamoto from a scouting agency in Brasilia had a flat tire and asked me to change the tire. She said that I was attractive, and had the skill for modeling.”

He has shot fragrance commercials and exotic GQ editorials. Romulo is happy to go wherever his modeling career takes him. He calls himself eclectic, and prefers not staying in one place for too long.

Even though the famous model has been all over the world, the one place he hasn’t yet conquered is the Himalayas.

He is in love with the history of Mount Everest, and everything surrounding it, and would love to shoot there someday. It’s on his bucket list of things to do before he dies.

Romulo loves representing each of the luxurious brands he signs with, and though he has no real favorite, he has a special place in his heart for Karl Lagerfeld. When he was 18 and Marina Sakamoto pushed him in the modeling direction, it was Karl that picked up Romulo and boosted his career into stardom. “He is one of the biggest and kindest people I know,” Romulo said.
