Audience As short films have a niche audience it is

difficult to estimate what audience interest it would have. However the general audience for short films are students, teachers, film-makers, directors and film critics.

It would not have the same interest as a feature length film, particularly because it does not have a strong narrative that can be its’ selling point.

Audience However if it was a feature length film the

selling point here would probably be a well known director and/or have well known actors or actresses that would have a strong fan base and would therefore create more interest.

If the film was a feature length film, without the selling points of actors and directors, the audience would probably still be film-makers, students, teachers etc.

The Simpsons Originally ‘The Simpsons’ had an 8pm slot on

FOX, this suggests that its’ audience was of an older age range.

However now, its’ audience is of all ages, this demonstrates that its’ intended audience is not always its’ actual audience.
