The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight is a thriller film and a film sequel to batman begins. Co written by Christopher Nolan and based on the character Batman from the DC comics.

The batman character is in a position from a low angle shot making him look powerful and from the masculinity of the body shape makes him very fearful and makes the audience thinks about weather is he good or bad.

Both of the symbols that represent batman are repeated except that one of them is in the fire of a burning building. The fire shows danger and possible insight to the character on show.

The Subheading is almost the catchphrase of the film ‘WELCOME TO A WORLD WITHOUT NO RULES’ the alliteration of them causes the audience to think what is the story about is it the same as the other movies? Is it the same as the comics?

Given the title of the film ‘The Dark Knight’ The colours portray on the face are very plain and dark causing tension and a slight sense of unexpected to what’s to happen if watched

Other things that I find effective about this poster is that it’s only a poster that sums the film up very well. In the film you don’t know what is to happen and the film is always keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
