Telemachus didn’t know what to do with his dad’s home. Ever since they had defeated the suitors, It felt strange having him here. Standing there doing nothing didn’t seem to help the problem so he decided that he would visit Sparta, asking an old friend to help the problem of the situation.Telemachus then got his his ship and he sailed right away to Sparta.By the time he got there, the king had met him and ordered a feast right away.The Feast had held food and music was flowing in the air. Everyone was in the feast that hold held the juicy, fat covered chicken and ate it with their own hands, and drank grape wine. After that, everyone had greeted Telemachus and talked upon him on his great victory with the defeat of the suitors.King Menelaus himself was proud for his victory. “So Telemachus, son of Odysseus, what brings you here in Sparta? It has been awhile since we had visited but I am glad to see you.” said King Menelaus. “King Menelaus, I am here to visit you. Ever since the battle with the suitors, I do not know what to do with my father. With nothing to do, I decided to visit you to see if you can give me advice.” said Telemachus.

King Menelaus thought about this for a while and then he talked. “I think you have already known the answer to that questions. Your father was clever enough to get back home, wasn’t he? The only way that you could help this problem if you hold and fight with Odysseus’ sword.”Telemachus had thought about the idea and he thanked the king of Sparta and he went and got his boat and sailed out into the sea the opposite way of Ithaca and out to the sea.

Poseidon PalacePoseidon was still mad at Odysseus and wanted revenge on him. He watched Odysseus at Ithaca as he was with his wife. He couldn't believe that Odysseus was able to get past through the power. And being a sea god, he had power at everything in

the sea. But he knew that the Fate has let Odysseus survive this battle.His son however has no Fate saying he will live. “I will make you suffer Odysseus!” yelled Poseidon.

Back in the seaTelemachus was out in the sea. He could smell the salt water and the air was cool. As he looked out at what was in front of him, he saw noticed something was green. As he looked closer, he saw it was coming close to him. Then when he looked close enough, he saw a green monster.“Almighty Zeus!”said Telemachus. And then the monster came down and started wrecking his ship. Telemachus had to jump out of the sea before the monster could have done anything and he watched in horror as the monster went and charged toward him and then he was knocked out.Later, Telemachus was at the end of the sea, his eye open and the sun was shining his eye. The sun was too bright for him then he looked again. He stood up and he looked around. His clothes were ripped and his ship was a wrecked boat. He wondered where he was and then he saw a rocky cliff and he climbed it. As he had started climbed the cliff, every sweat in his head had went to the ground. He had looked out in the sun to see where the sun was going. “Dawn.”, he thought in his head.By the time he was up in the cliff, he was already tired and wanted to go take a nap. But he knew that he had to continue walking and he saw a forest and went right in. He was very hungry but didn’t see any animal. Then Hermes appeared out of nowhere and he flew toward Telemachus. Telemachus was a bit scared at first but then Hermes talked.

“Telemachus, do not be afraid for I’m Hermes, Messenger of Zeus. And I’m here to help you” said Hermes.Telemachus started to run then he got himself in control and asked, ”So who is the sea creature?” Hermes answered, “The

sea creature itself was Cetus, the creature that Perseus had turned into stone.” Telemachus was a bit surprised at first but then he keep asking questions.”So if the Cetus had been turn into stone, who turn it back to not stone?”said Telemachus.“Poseidon himself did while your father have been returning home and he wanting to sent to your father but Athena stop him before he could do it.” said Hermes.“So where should I go?”said Telemachus.“Telemachus, you should go out into the sea. There, Zeus will help you to defeat the Cetus. You will then when Poseidon had sent you huge waves, you should be in King Aeolus Island. When you are there, ask for help. If he won’t help you, Zeus will fix him up. When King Aeolus helps you, sail to Ithaca. After that we do not know.”said Hermes. And Telemachus thanked Hermes and Hermes went and he zoomed in the air and he had went away. His stomach was growling for food and he went to the river to catch some fish. He caught the fish and he ate in the fire. Later, he went to get himself ready to swim to the ocean. By the time it was already night. With his strength, he went to swim out in the sea. Poseidon must have known that Telemachus has escaped out of the island for the water was very rocky and pushing him back. But the gods must have given Telemachus strength for he was able to swim past the waves. Then the Cetus had come again and this time was determined not to fail to eat Telemachus. The Cetus then went and charged forward at him. That’s when a lightning bolt came out of the sky and smoked the Cetus. And then Telemachus couldn’t see anything after the huge wave had crashed him.Later, Telemachus woke up and he saw a bronze fort near the mountain side. He had walked toward it and then he saw a waterfall and he try to drink it but he couldn’t, for the water did not reach to his hand and then the waterfall talked.

“Who is in my Island, name yourself before I kick you out of here!” Telemachus flinched a bit but then he said, “King Aeolus God of all winds, I am Telemachus, and I’m here on one business, I am here for you to give me a ship.”“Telemachus, you are the son of Odysseus, yes?”said King Aeolus“Yes, I am the son of Odysseus, why?”said Telemachus.“Then I won’t help you. And you better get out of my Island before I go and wipe you out.”The sky then rumbled and then someone said in a deep voice”King Aeolus, It is me, Zeus, Leader of all the Olympians and son to Kronos,You will give him a boat by my order. If not, this will not end well for you. ”King Aeolus scared by this threat, went on to the sea and summoned a boat right away.“Here you go Telemachus.”said King Aeolus as he shivered. Telemachus then went on to his boat and sail away. Out in the sea, Poseidon, determined to defeat him once in for all had rise out of the sea and Poseidon stood out as tall as a mountain and he said” Odysseus, I will have my revenge!” And he used his trident to crash down the boat. Poseidon had missed but water had splashed over Telemachus and Poseidon went missing, he tried to strike again. Telemachus, turning the boat around Poseidon, He had escaped Poseidon and he had sailed away.After that day, he went with his boat and sailed along that day. By the time it was the end of the week, he had already gotten back to Ithaca and was with his family.His parents were very glad to see him. Of course his mom would say something like this.“Oh baby, are you alright, thank Zeus he has protected you from your journey.”His dad however just stood there and said,“Are you ready to tell me where you been?”

And the father and son soon had a happy ending.
