Part One..

We were given a brief to make an opening sequence of a new thriller/horror movie. It had to last up to a maximum of 2mintues. The title of my thriller was the “Frame of Mind”. We used this title because it foreshadows the events and the themes of our story. The fact that we have used the words “Frame” and “Mind” reflects the psycho’s corrupted mind which has been framed through his crime. This is therefore conventional for our thriller..

In our thriller we have a psycho has who murdered a young girl. Whilst doing so he gets caught on camera by a group of young boys who place the video on you tube. The psycho discovers this and sets out to get revenge and to wipe out the evidence. However like normal thrillers it has a “happy ending” which results in the psycho being caught. The sub genre we have used is “Action and Thriller”. We have chosen action because there are elements of it within the story; e.g. when the psycho kidnaps the girl. We have combined the two genres together.
