Who I am?

The word “Orchestra” is used to define the place where dancers and musicians performed in ancient Greece. The other name of its are Symphony and philharmonic orchestra. It is usually led by a Conductor who directs the performance with his hands and arms.

Orchestra is a foundation of Western culture. It got its basic form in the early 1600s.The first Orchestra was organized in 1913 at the Southern Mississippi. At that time only one Orchestra was played in an year.

It is a art of music performance. The main role of the Conductor is to interpret which is created by the composer.

There are several instruments which are used in Orchestra music like Cello, Violin, Trumpets etc. Some instruments have a deep and a high sound and others are used for a brass sound.

Cello: This is a large instrument and it have a deep sound which is extremely loud and powerful. Cello can also be very sweet and soft that’s why this play a huge role in the Orchestra.

Violin: This instrument is most dominant in Orchestra and it is also a best known instrument. It is played by many players. Violin have a higher tone as compare to Cello. This is used for Jazz, symphonic and other genre of music.

Trumpets: This is a brass instrument which is dominant in the brass part of the sound. It is contrast with the theme which is played by the Violin. This is also used in a big range of music in Orchestra.

Clarinet: This instrument is a large section of the Orchestra and it is the dominant wind instruments.

It provide a warm bright sound and is used in Jazz regularly. This is much cheaper as compare to Cellos and Violins. Clarinet is popular in younger player.

Percussion: Other items like –snares, cymbals, bass drums, and bells are involved in this. Each instrument is used differently and is difficult to play.
