Zombieland In the opening title of Zombieland the text is involved in the action of the opening sequence. The text breaks when ‘zombies’ go through them. This draws the audiences attention to the actors and producers which gives them more acclaim.

In the opening to the conjuring there is lots of dark colours and old fashioned pictures. This fits with genre of the film being a horror. So people now they know what to expect when they watch the film and it will attract fans of that particular genre. The text also fits the genre by being in black and in a formal font. However the opening of this film is over 2 minutes long and most of the title are the same this could cause the audience to become uninterested in the film before its even started.

I think this benefits the film more because it keeps the audience attention on the screen because they are wondering what going to happen next. This is a big contrast to ‘The conjuring” because all the titles are similar and are the same colour. However this is because the film is a horror and there isn't many colours to fit to that particular genre.
