ONCE UPON A TIME...

Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810 as a celebration of Crown Prince Ludwig’s marriage to Princess Therese. To celebrate, they invited the

city's residents to a festival in front of the city gates; the event was such a success they decided to bring it back the following year. Oktoberfest

is now an annual event all around the globe, with Oktoberfest UK already in its second year in Bristol.

The venue is located at Bristol Temple Meads Railway station which services many locations such as Cardiff and Bath. There is also a mainline to/from London.

Many routes service Temple Meads (TM). They are as follows;1/2 : TM > Cribs Cause-way8,8A,9,9A : TM > Clifton & RedlandX39,338,339 : TM > Bath50/51 : TM > Hengrove

There is a medium sized pay and display car park at Temple Meads Station. Be warned: it is quite expensive.
