Tuning in:

We are beginning our inquiry into natural objects. We took a nature walk around the school to see

what we could find.

“The leaves are kinda yellow ‘coz they’re dead. When you hold 3 leaves in the sun, some parts turn dark.”

We made sure to stop and smell the flowers.

“Those are worm homes”

Hmmm…

We found interesting things to talk about.

“Paper comes from trees. The paper’s inside the tree. They get the paper by cutting them.”

“There really are humans under there.”

Hmmm…I wonder what’s in there?
