Hi! Welcome back to part B of Week 14.

I’m on the 3rd generation of this Apocalypse Challenge. The twin girls, Chika and Chaya, are back from University.

“I’m so happy you’re both back. It was so lonely here without my girls.” –Babette

“We’re really glad to be back, mom.” –Chika

I’ve picked Chaya to be heir. Mainly because she’s not a romance Sim like her sister and mother. =D

There wasn’t a job for the sisters last night. After their morning jog, it was time to get something for them.

“Then they showed us films of people stuffing their face with food… *slurp,slurp,slurp*.” –Chika

It’s only Wednesday of week 14 and nothing good in the job listings either.

We’d love a Uni job after all that time. They both got Gamer to fill their time.

“Devin!” –Chaya

Since there wasn’t much else to do, we invited Devin over. (Military & Gamer lifted)

Oops, I put the Medieval stuff back in for another Cool!” –Devin neighborhood. Oh, well.

Yes, I was distracted and the Elders started dancing. I did make them stop. They’re very sneaky. =[

Chaya and Devin started sharing interests.

~I keep wishing for Show Biz just because of Sims like Devin… love the outfit. =[

Uh oh, is there a little dissention in the ranks? O.o

“I’m so happy you still remember me. I’d love for us to stay best friends.” –Chika

…..

“Ahahaa…I will if you will.” –Chika

~What?~

“Nothing for you to know.” –Chika

~Humf~

“I got a promotion.” –Chaya

~In a lifted job~

“Hey, you’re nice and lookin’ good.” –Devin

Devin just changed his turn ons and offs. He now has three bolts with Chaya and one with Chika.

“Devin, I just realized we’re not even engaged. Since you’re not going to ask…” –Chaya

“I would if I knew you were ready.” –Devin

“Will you be my fiancé and take my last name when it’s time to marry?” –Chaya

“Hell yeah I will.” –Devin

“Squeee!” –Chaya

“I love you, Chaya. I have loved you for a long time.” –Devin

“There you go mom and dad. No more lectures about us.” –Chaya

“Thank you, Dear.” –Babette

Yay- Culinary it is for Chika (it’s her LTW, too). =D

She starts at level 9 but she’s missing many skills.

“Wha?” –Chaya

“Nothing, it’s still very early. Go back to sleep.” –Devin

“It’s okay, I’m awake now.” –Chaya

I sent him downstairs to check for jobs- nothing. I let him have Science to keep him busy.

~You know you’re a family Sim,right?~

“Yeah.” –Devin

~Could you start rolling some family Sim wants, please?~

“No. I want to learn some more skills.” –Devin

I’m getting tired of him only wanting skills and nothing for marriage or babies or flirts or … family stuff. =[

“Bye dad and frozen Sim. I’m working late so don’t wait up.” –Chika

“Was it worth the degrees for your girls?” –Frozen Sim

“Yep. They get right to the top even without the skills.” –Virgil

~Hi, Angel~ =DI guess Virgil did get tired.

“Hey! Who are you and what are you doing upstairs?” –Chaya

“I thought you father was going to sit in the hot tub with me but he never showed up. Tell him I left.” -?

Guests just go upstairs and I forget all about them. XD

“Hm… Devin is adorable.” –Chika

~He’s the only available Sim on the lot, you mean~

“What are you reading, Chika?” –Devin

~Don’t you start thinking you’re a Romance Sim, Devin!~

~Why are you up here?~

“I’m bored. When am I getting grandbabies?” –Virgil

~As soon as your daughter gets a lift job~

“Chika Sweet?” –Hobby Sim

~Close your mouth, Chika~

“You are invited to visit our wonderful hobby lot.” –Hobby Sim

“Will you be there?” –Chika

“I’m always there.” –Hobby Sim

“Then I’ll visit as soon as I move out.” –Chika

“I think I should adopt some more children if I’m never going to get any grandbabies.” –Virgil

~Say it louder, Virgil~

“There; I think I can sense what babies need now.” –Chaya

Yay! Music will do.

Chaya is at level 9 and has all the skills she needs. It’s Friday, too, so she’ll go to work today.

“That Sims isn’t a family Sim if doesn’t have a want to married my baby girl yet.” –Virgil

Off to work- Go Chaya!

It’s okay, she only lost us about forty grand. XD

Of course, have to expect it, right? She gets promoted from a hobby chance cared. XD

“No, she hasn’t asked or shown me she wants to get married. I don’t know what to do.”

He needs to work on more friends.

Awesome! Music is lifted.

Music and Oceanography means I have weather… and telescopes with Science.

As long as she stays at the top of the Music career she supresses the Artist restriction, too. =D

“I want to thank you for bringing music back to our run down world. I have connections in the imports. Your household goods will be cheaper now.” –Coworker

“Don’t forget I want to use the telescope too, Virgil.” –Babette

Early Saturday morning…

“Hey, Dev. Guess what?” –Chaya

“You’ve gotten prettier than yesterday?” –Devin

“My sister is getting closer to lifting Culinary. We’ll have food for lots of kids.” –Chaya

“Lots of kids? If you want. I only want to be married to you long past our Golden Anniversary.” –Devin

“Really?” –Chaya

“Is that what you wanted to talk about, food?” –Devin

“Not just talk…” –Chaya

…no chimes…

Try again…

“Uh…” –Devin

“Well…” –Chaya

“Don’t think of this as work. Think of it as Fun. Let’s have lots of Fun.” –Chaya

“Finally; I’ve got all the skills I need for a promotion.” –Chika

~Yay!~

“Hey!” –Devin

XD They weren’t there when the two woohoo’ed.

Yay! Generation 4 is in the works. XD

“Should I wait or should I ask?” –Chaya

~It’s not a majic ball…and since he hasn’t rolled the want and you have, Go ahead and ask him~

“I’ll think about it.”

(Which means I forget they aren’t married? XD )

“Guess what, Sweets?” –Devin

“I don’t know, tell me.” –Chaya

“I’ve got a new job.” –Devin

“Hmmm?” –Chaya

“It’s in Intelligence.” –Devin =D

~What do you see?~

“I think it’s Bairn and his wife. He looks so young still.” –Babette

~He is~

~Why are you running? I only told you to ‘Go Here’~

“I should get a promotion today. I don’t want to miss the carpool!” –Chika

Go and get ‘em, Chika =D

Devin is finally going to work. Intelligence!

“Dad, I think I might have morning sickness.” –Chaya

“Bah, you probably got food poisoning.” –Virgil

Aw, Roberto called to give her a gift of higher wages. So sad he didn’t get in the family.

She’s still working to keep the career open. Babette is able to paint now. XD

“Hahah! How long have you been in love with my brother-in-law?” –Virgil

“Clarence, it wasn’t me!” –Virgil

~Chika, you’ve lifted Culinary. Why so sad?~

“Devin is hogging the attention with his Family Sim antics.” –Chika

“I’m home! I got a promotion to level 7. Someone come hug me.” –Devin

He doesn’t work again until Tuesday. =[

“Dad!”

Clarence was having fun tonight. I have no idea why she chased him around. XD

Chance cards… I hate them.

She got money but I get worried now that she has to stay in the job. Really want Slacker lifted soon. XD

“Did you see my award for being a Rock God? It’s gold and huge and it’s all mine.” –Chaya

“No… how do you like the turkey I made for dinner? I lifted Culinary and we can eat.” –Chika

“Well, yeah that’s nice too.” –Chaya

“Nice? I had to research and reformulate and rewrite all the food so we can preserve it again. You say it’s ‘Nice?’

“Girls! You both brought happiness to the world.” –Virgil

“Food is precious when we have only old hot dogs and music is food for the soul.” –Virgil

I guess you should have worked out like the Coach said. XD

“But dad, food is so much more important than music. We can make music with rocks but not food from rocks.” –Chika

“Baby girl, we all love you and are so grateful for the work you did.” -Babette

It was time for Chika to move out.

Baby bump one!

“I am pregnant.” –Chaya

“That’s right. My baby girl brought back food preservation knowledge. If we had eggs, we’d be able to eat them.” –Virgil

“Baby girl, do you want to marry this guy or not?” –Virgil

“Yeah Chaya, do you want to marry me or what?” –Devin

“Well, I was waiting for you to want to marry me but fine. I’ll do it.” –Chaya

“You and me forever.” –Devin

“You and me and our family forever.” –Chaya

It’s back to regular life: food and studying. XD

End of Week 14

It was a looong week with University added.

Next chapter there will be babies and elders holding babies and then Toddlers, Yay! XD
