• The majority of the people I asked were age 16-19 which is my target audience I wanted. The second highest amount of people who I asked were age 20-22 so I will target my magazine at the age range of 16-22.

• Only 2 people were from the ages of 23-25+.

• The majority of people I asked listened to Indie and Acoustic music, however a couple also listened to Pop and Rock music with the minority listening to Drum and bass.

• This is good for my results as I wanted to do a magazine with Indie/acoustic/rock music.

What type of music magazines do you like?

• The majority of people I asked read NME or Mojo. Not many people I asked read magazines like Kerrang or Q and nobody selected the ‘other’ option. This tells me about the type of things that my target audience would want to read in a music magazine and I can use the magazines to research this.

• The majority of people brought/listened their music on iTunes or spotify. This shows that they are people who are willing to pay for their music so this can give me the result that they care about the music industry. This means that they may be willing to pay more for a music magazine and can help me when making mine.
