Spend the day together as a familyIf you’re looking for something fun and free for all the family to do during weekends or holidays then come along to the Museum of London. Our two venues are easy to get to – the Museum of London is centrally located in the City near to St Paul’s, while the Museum of London Docklands is only a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Canary Wharf.

Step inside the Museum of London for an unforgettable journey through the capital’s amazing past.

Discover characters from London’s past, see treasures from a Roman temple, witness the fear of the Black Death and find out the real stories behind the Great Fire of London.

Downstairs in the Galleries of Modern London you can experience life as a debtor in an 18th century prison cell, take a stroll in recreated pleasure gardens or window shop in the Victorian Walk. Wonder at the magnificent Lord Mayor’s Coach, see inside a 250 year old doll’s house or explore the concerns of 21st century Londoners.
