Techniques To Know:Opening Jump Rings

Multi Chain Swag

Instructions:First cut the chain quantities and lengths as shown in the illustration.

Cut (2) 4” lengths of 9mm link chain, (1) 8” and (1) 81. 1/4” lengths of 7mm link chain.Attach a toggle end to each 9mm link chain length using 2. a 6mm jump ring. Connect a 6mm jump ring to the other end of each 9mm link chain using a 4mm jump ring. See the illustration.Connect chains C and D to the 6mm jump rings in step 2 3. using 4mm jump rings. See the illustration.Cut the 4mm chain lengths as described in the 4. illustration. Attach the chains using 6mm jump rings as illustrated.Create a swag with the E length chains by using two 5. 6mm jump rings attached to the medium size (7mm) chain. The four E length chains should slide through the jump ring and allow you to create a desired swag length.
