CHOOSING YOUR TEMPLATE

• Once comic life has down loaded you can then pick one of the many templates you wish to choose.

GETTING STARTED

• For example I chose this template for my project.

• You can see in the top right hand side of the picture there are different template pages and layouts you can choose.

THE IMPORTANT TOOLS!

• At the very top of your project you will see a bunch of tools like the one above.• As you can see you can print your comics or even email them to friends, parents, or even teachers if you

wish.• Also you can add new pages to your comic to make it longer by simply clicking new page.• By pushing zoom in or zoom out you can look at your comic in greater detail.• The style button is just for changing the style on the font.• The bigger A and smaller A buttons are to make text bigger or smaller.• The inspector button is a button that allows you to put great detail into your comic.• Then last but not least the colors button and fonts button are simply for the text color and font sizes. • Underneath all the big buttons are the format tools where you can change font color, size, shadow, bold,

underlined, center it, or what ever you choose to make you comic the best.

• You can also add speech or thought bubbles as well to your comic.

• Also you can add the big lettering for fight scenes or however you please.

PICTURES

• To the bottom right of your screen is where you can get your pictures from either I-photo, Finder, or you can even use the camera to take your own picture.

• For an example I will go to Finder, then I will pick my folder with all my pictures in it.

• Once you have your pictures up it is very easy to add them to your comic. Just simply click on the picture and drag it to your comic and they will appear like so.

FINISHED PROJECT

• This is an example of a quick finished project of the Revolutionary War.

• What makes Comic Life such a great site is how quick and easy it is to use.

WHY TO USE COMIC LIFE

• Comic Life is a cool way to present certain topics and teach lessons. Its quick and easy to use and any one can use it. If your looking to spice up your lessons and make them more entertaining this is the site to use. Also you could have your students make their own comics as a fun project. Another great thing about Comic Life is that is free to use and easy to download.
