Ron Mendelsohn is co-founder and CEO of Megatrax, a leading independent production music library and custom music house based in Los Angeles. Established in 1990, Megatrax has earned a reputation worldwide for high quality music coupled with unparalleled service and innovation. In addition to managing business operations at Megatrax, Ron is also an accomplished pianist and composer who has composed hundreds of cues for the Megatrax library and scored numerous film/TV projects ranging from promos to feature films.

A graduate of Wesleyan University (CT), Ron attended film scoring programs at USC and UCLA and studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liege (Belgium) on a grant from the Rotary Foundation. A tireless advocate for music rights, Ron is a founding member of the Production Music Association and has served on the PMA board since its inception. Ron is also a member of numerous other professional organizations including the Society of Composers and Lyricists, Vistage and ASCAP.

Randy has been both a musician and an executive in the music industry for over 30 years.  He joined Megatrax when Aircast was acquired in2008 and became the leader of the company's highly creative custom division as Creative Services Director.  Randy has developed innovative custom scoring for clients such as FedEx in rebranding their internal worldwide communications, the international television news network Telesur and themes/promos for numerous television affiliates and radio stations. 

Randy's experience in the industry includes working with two multi- national music publishing companies (Famous Music and BMG MusicPublishing) as VP of their Nashville operations, working with songwriting luminaries such as Hugh Prestwood, Gary Burr, Victoria Shaw and Bill LaBounty.  As a musician, Randy has performed with a wide variety of artists such as Iggy Pop, Garth Brooks, Larry Carlton and Willie Nelson.  His recording credits include the Allman Brothers and two Grammy award winners - the legendary Roger Miller and country artist, Steve Wariner.
