ACROSS THE HALL

In this poster for across the hall, we see a man with a obvious look of fear on his face peering around a wall. The fact that the person behind the wall is blurred and we are unable to see his face makes it mysterious and adds to the persons fear. We know it’s a thriller from many factors; The fright on the mans face, the blurred character and the fact the man is hiding. It also makes us wonder what is across the hall?

I’M HERE

In this poster for I’m here we see two animated beings which suggests to us that this will be an animated film. We see two characters which are portrayed as male and female which gives us the stereotypically idea that this will be a love story. They also seem unhappy which makes us want to know what happened.

GEORGE LUCAS, IN LOVE

The poster for George Lucas in Love is set in layers with the main character in front, this suggests that George Lucas goes through many stages in the film which portrays it as action packed. We also see very similar characters to Star Wars.

This poster for Endless, suggests straight away that it is a horror. Many horror conventions are at play in the poster. The blood in the women's mouth suggests she’s under threat. Also she is looking up which makes her seem weak and also that there is a unknown threat that we can’t see.

COMEDY

This minimalistic poster suggests and indie comedy, but it also leaves a lot up to the imagination of the viewer which makes people want to watch it. And maybe make the comedy a surprise
