ITV 1/2 ITV is a network of television channels that broadcast a variety of TV shows. The broadcasting channel as a collective is called ITV, however it has sub-channels such as ITV1/2/3.
ITV usually airs dramas such as The Vampire Diaries and Broadchruch. However it has the occasional reality show such as The Only Way Is Essex.
The typical genres for ITV tends to be Drama, Thriller, Crime, Horror and Period Dramas.
ITV has a very wide ranging audience, ranging from teenagers to adults, usually depending on the type of programme. ITV2 is the biggest digital channel in the UK and targets 16-34s with a range of entertainment programming.

Broadchurch
Broadchurch is a crime drama involving the death of a boy and the search for his killer. It stars well know actor David Tennant and Olivia Colman. The series is set in Dorset. It tends to air a variety of dramas including the likes of Spooks and Torchwood. All programs on BBC are usually in the drama genre however they do occasionally show comedy sitcoms.
Typical genres on the BBC are usually Drama, Crime, Thriller and documentaries. However BBC also has sub-genres such as children's TV.
Depending on the program, BBC can have a varying target audience, going from children all the way up to adults.

There is a array of genres aired on both programmes ranging from comedy, horror, drama, sit coms and thriller.
The programme tends to target a younger audience however occasionally it will show programmes for an older audience.
Skins Skins is a British teen drama aired on E4 once a year. It has an alternating cast list that changes after every two years. The main plot usually follows a group of teenagers through their time at a sixth-form college and facing them with the reality of growing up and the troubles they will have to overcome.

It mainly focuses on the mod revival scene rather than the skinhead subculture. The drama is aired on channel 4 as a mini-series.
