The opening starts with a pretty view on gleamingLake with pleasant and slow non digetic guitar music.Which puts the audience in a calm mood and makes you not think about a psychological thriller. This is possibly done to keep them in a normal mood and to later surprise them when a spine-tingling scene occurs. It's a technique used to keep the audience attention. Just like Hitchcock’s movie.

As the opening goes on and moves onto a forest scene there’s still the non-digetic guitar music, again with a pleasant scenery.

However as the title appears the music changes slightly and the scenery which is quite and peaceful makes sense with the title. Since it says “THE INVISIBLE” and the empty environment around fits in as something invisible would be there.

A similar style is created when the mist appears after the title. Seeing that mist is also slightly invisible.

The Black background with the white writing creates a sinister effect as the dark background is more dominant than the white writing. Symbolizes that it’s a thriller. Plus you have the writing splitting possibly referring to a knife.

With the presentation of the writing there’s also non-digetic music in the background, which is at low volume and at slow pace but additionally creates a haunted / uncomfortable feeling.

Additionally as the title appears the music abruptly has a fast pace which gives the audience slightly goose bumps. Along with as the light runs over the titles like someone’s eye, it seems like you’re being watched. Which again creates a thrilling effect.
