Speed Jumping: This is one of the top leg workouts to jump higher. Basically to perform this effectively, you need to skip, very fast! This is a very intense exercise that will strengthen you fast twitch muscle fibres in your legs. This is great because this will give you extra explosion when you jump! Try to keep your sets below 10 seconds and rest in between sets as well so you put as much effort in as possible. Single Leg Push Off: Rest one foot on a box about 12" off the floor, whilst standing on your other foot on the ground. Push off on the foot on the box and jump up as far as possible. Use your arms to create swing and increased explosion too. Squat: Now you didn't think I was going to forget this were you? This is the godfather of leg workouts because it exercises basically all the muscles on your legs. Remember for this exercise you should be lifting heavy weight with only a few reps each set. This will target maximum muscle gain in your legs and you should be pretty sore the next day if you perform this right!
