How LG 3D Game Converter Works

LG 3D Game Converter technology works on Open-GL based games – Currently covering Open-GL 1.1 & 2.0 based games

Key principles of LG 3D Game Converter technology– Open-GL contains full 3D information of the virtual world and a camera matrix

– The full 3D information is trimmed based on what is seen from the camera (i.e., the 3D world is flattened to 2.5D based on the camera location)

– LG 3D Game Converter renders the image twice, by defining another cameramatrix and flattening the 3D world into another camera perspective (original is in the middle and both Left and Right images are created based on the new camera matrix)

– With two views, you can easily create a Real-3D view of the 3D virtual world

LG 3D Game Converter App (preloaded on LG mobile 3D devices) makes it simple and effortless for consumers to enjoy a 2D game in Real-3D

1. If a game is built in Open-GL and works in landscape mode, it is compatible with LG 3D Game Converter

2. 3D game conversion only works through LG 3D Game Converter App3. For convenience, LG will provide a list of games through LG Smart World (marketplace)

that are LG 3D Game Converter Compatible and can be enjoyed in both 2D and real 3D 4. If a game is made in Open-GL but is not on the “LG 3D Game Converter Compatible game

list”, our converter will still let you convert it (but with a warning message)
