Now, you know my passion for Italian food its evident in my past reviews, so what do I think about one of the most talked about restaurants in Sydney, opened up by one of the most respected and well known chef’s in the world?! I must say it’s one of the busiest and well organized eateries I’ve ever been to and the food is pretty good…… Is it better than the previous restaurants I’ve eaten at? Yes, but only just. It’s a hard task cooking somewhat 200+ meals a lunch and dinner service and be consistent each and every time, but the chefs do an awesome job with the very small space they have. It’s no wonder that there is always an hour and a half wait on most nights starting from 6:30pm onwards, there is basically no more room after they fill the 200 seater up and the restaurant is constantly full from 5:30 – 10:30pm I had the pleasure of a guided tour around the venue and it’s an amazing place from the $10,000 pasta machine from Modena. Yes, the place where they build Ferrari’s to all their cured meats sliced on premises in their antipasto section, 12 section pasta boiler and 2 targa tops (European flat grills). They really do know how to make pasta there at Jamie’s and it does feel like real authentic Italian. Down to the freshly grated parmesan and seasoned breadcrumbs garnished on top of majority of their pasta dishes. Situated on 107 Pitt St, Sydney, this is definitely a must try and expect it to get even better and busier as yours truly will be joining the ranks this month…. See you there! It’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally made it down to Jamie’s Italian. Now, you know my passion for

Italian food its evident in my past reviews, so what do I think about one of the most talked about restaurants in

Sydney, opened up by one of the most respected and well known chef’s in the world?! I must say it’s one of the

busiest and well organized eateries I’ve ever been to and the food is pretty good…… Is it better than the

previous restaurants I’ve eaten at? Yes, but only just. It’s a hard task cooking somewhat 200+ meals a lunch and

dinner service and be consistent each and every time, but the chefs do an awesome job with the very small

space they have. It’s no wonder that there is always an hour and a half wait on most nights starting from 6:30pm

onwards, there is basically no more room after they fill the 200 seater up and the restaurant is constantly full

from 5:30 – 10:30pm

I had the pleasure of a guided tour around the venue and it’s an amazing place from the $10,000 pasta machine

from Modena. Yes, the place where they build Ferrari’s to all their cured meats sliced on premises in their

antipasto section, 12 section pasta boiler and 2 targa tops (European flat grills).

They really do know how to make pasta there at Jamie’s and it does feel like real authentic Italian. Down to the

freshly grated parmesan and seasoned breadcrumbs garnished on top of majority of their pasta dishes.

Situated on 107 Pitt St, Sydney, this is definitely a must try and expect it to get even better and busier as yours

truly will be joining the ranks this month….
