Life.(1)-Jacob Obrecht was born in Gante the 22 of November of 1458, and he died in Ferrara the 25 of July of 1505. He was a Flemish composer of the Renaissance.

- The first instrument that Jacob learned to play was the trumpet, because the trumpet was the favourite instrument of his father.

-He was son of Ghent city trumpeter Willem Obrecht and Lijsbette Gheeraerts.

-His mother died in 1460 at the age of 20, and his father, in 1488 in Ghent.

Antoine Busnois.-He was a French composer and poet of the early Renaissance Burgundian School.

- The style of Antoine Busnois was very similar to the style of Jacob Obrecht.

- He was born in 1430, and he died in 1492.
