These two production companies are very
well know for their high end, popular films that
they churn out with high budgets and
generally make their money back.
BlumHouse has become a very successful low
budget movie producer, their most profitable
film was Paranormal Activity 1, made for just
£15,000 and brought in over £196 Million.
BlumHouse has become well know for its
horror films, made on a low budget and raking
in the millions.
Differences
The main different is the amount of capital
each institution throws at each films, for
transformers paramount threw a large
amount of money to publicise and market
the film unlike paranormal activity who's
marketing mainly revolved around trailers
on YouTube and online advertising as it was
cheaper for Blumhouse

company. They have only released horror

18 year olds and older while paramount
films appeal to every audience
imaginable with over 100 years movie
making experience they have the money
to gamble on different audiences and
take greater risks In their production tatics.
Which is better?
Although paramount is a well established
company and has been churning films out
for over 100 years, blumhouse has exploded
onto the market and produces some very
successful films of a comparable tiny
budget and the takings of their films
outshine some of the larger institution
biggest blockbusters.
