In this classic method of eating peas, no second utensil is used to ease the peas onto the fork

• Grasp fork as you would hold a pencil with prongs facing downward and basin upwards

• Rotate wrist 15 to 20 degrees clockwise

• Move fork to peas and slowly maneuver peas up against a chicken leg to keep from rolling

• In swift motion, back wrist, rotate 40 degrees clockwise and move forward to scoop peas onto fork
