The main characters in our story are a boy and girl zombie. They are both un-named to make the story more mysterious towards the audience. They are very much in love with one another and are living happily together in their haunted graveyard.

This is the setting at the beginning of the video so the audience already know that these two characters have a romance between them. I feel the uniqueness of the video is quite obvious. In many romance videos, the characters are humans. We have taken made up, fictional characters and made a modern day story about them. Also, other forms of media such as films, portray zombies as being bad. The zombies we use are good. We want to represent them in a different and appealing way rather than involving blood and gore.

The romance between the two zombie will be represented throughout the whole music video. The audience will be given a feeling of what their lives are like together. Watching them fight away evil together will symbolise how strong their love is.

The humour in the story will be shown throughout the whole music video. The main characters will be very comical mainly due to the fact that they are zombies. We will give them witty and entertaining personalities to make them lovable towards the audience.

I think the comic side comes more from the nature of the video. Its a fun and imaginative idea which is unusual to other types of rom-com sources. The obvious fact that the two main characters aren’t human. There will be strange characters and scenes. The characters includes the zombie couple, a mad scientist and two surgeons. Having these bizarre characters will bring humour and excitement to the music video.

When shooting scenes, we will try to add our own types of conventions which will make it amusing. In a scene near the beginning, the mad scientist will capture the two zombies. To make it funnier, we have thought about having the mad scientist capturing the couple with fishing nets. Doing this adds that’s sense of hilarity as fishing nets are simple traps use to capture small creatures such as fish. It almost becomes child like but keeps it’s young teen appeal of who we are aiming this music video at.
