The StoryThree girls named Ami Honda, Aphrodite Karpusi and Stephanie Williams enroll in a private high school known as Academy W. As normal as it may seem, the school nor the girls aren’t what they

seem. World Academy, is full of students who are personifications of countries, capitals and so on. Despite this, to learn more about

world peace, these personifications must attend the school at least once, though some do re-attend the school for the fun of it. The story leads us to a journey between the three new girls who will experience the obstacles of friendship, accepting differences,

passing school and possibly falling in love.

Ami Honda

She gets along well with the Asian personifications as they’ve known each other for a long time. Yet, she is also quite fond of the Nordics as she happens to adore the winter season.

She is Japan’s (Kiku) younger sister. She is the personification of Tokyo.

Because of her brother’s influence, Ami is well-behaved, polite and does not speak unless spoken to, the only exception to her quietness would be when she is surrounded by her friends. She does not lie a lot, as she was taught not to do, so she happens to be very blunt at times.Also, as the representation of Tokyo, she is a big fan of anime, can sometimes be bossy and tends to rush a lot. She also gets really angry easily, especially when a person makes a comment on her height.She is also recognized as someone who is always wearing earphones or headphones, or reading a book. She adores animals and has a horrible fear of any type of insects. Ami also has a habit of giving nicknames to people whether for fun or for mockery.

Basically throughout the story, she gets really close to Canada (Stephanie’s brother), Iceland and Hong Kong. She tries to befriend Switzerland as she thinks he’s very cool, and possibly to help Stephanie talk to Liechtenstein.

Although obviously her best friends are Stephanie and Aphrodite. If any of them were sad, she’d “kill” the person who hurt them.

Stephanie Williams

Although, ignoring her brother America’s protests she is good friends with Russia. She also becomes friends with the Bad Touch Trio, which worries her brothers even more. Her closest friends though, are Aphrodite and Ami. Her closest cousins are Sealand and Quebec. At some point she falls in love with England, but is too afraid to even talk to him, so in the end she sort of stalks him.

She is the youngest sister of Canada, America and Australia. Though the one that mostly takes care of her happens to be Australia despite that Canada had custody of her. She represents a new island near Canada called Nova Island.

She enjoys teasing her best friends (especially Ami), though she hates being called a boy, due to numerous times where people had mistaken her for a boy, even though she is in fact a tomboy. Because of this, she has a low self-esteem. Even though she is capable of taking care of herself, her brothers are still overprotective of her. Music is an important thing in her life. It is so important, that the music she listens to can drastically affect her mood.She is known to participate in some sports, but does not belong in any sport team.

Ever since she was small, Stephanie tends to be very shy and doesn’t have many friends. Somehow along the way, she develops a passion for music and sings and plays the piano beautifully. Now that she’s older, she’s gotten really tall and quite strong after gaining independence from Canada.

Aphrodite Karpusi

On her first day of school, she faints upon seeing all the cute/hot guys. Later on, Spain carries her to the nurse where she faints again from seeing Spain. Throughout the story she develops a friendship with Turkey which get’s Greece slightly angry. Along the way, she develops a crush on Lovino and maybe even Spain and has to choose between the two.

She is the younger sister of Greece and represents the Ionian Islands. She happens to be a very distant cousin of America, which makes her a distant cousin of Stephanie.

She loves everyone and everyone loves her back, meaning that she has no enemies. She can also be unpredictable as she enjoys giving hugs to anyone (even Russia) and sing at random times. In her spare time, she picks up seashells and does paintings. It is also noted, that in her bag she usually has a fake moustache with her.Unlike her brother she is also more energetic and talks quite quickly, but can be very patient and enjoys taking cat naps with her brother. She isn’t as strong as her friends but believes in peace and is usually the one to stop fights between Ami and Stephanie. When she’s around people tend to not fight in front of her. It is also noted that she happens to be a little boy crazy.

Aphrodite is a happy-go-lucky girl that never fails to smiles and spreads happiness everywhere, even though she’s had a somewhat bad past. In her past, when she was still a child, she was a weak and sickly child due to the many invasions from other countries. Her brother Greece at that time told no one about his sister, out of fear that they would take her.
