Digi pack

This image is the album cover of FUSE –ODG’s single ‘Azonto’ . The album cover is predominantly black and whitewhich contradicts the bright colourful music video. However the use of yellow highlights ‘Fuse ODG’s’ name and is astereotypical African colour that relates to Fuse’s roots, for our digi pack from cover we will have our Fuse dancerdressed in a yellow t-shirt and plain colours similar to the official single cover. The image of Fuse on the front cover ishim looking directly into the camera, this is to create a relationship and to connect with the audience and workseffectively as it gives the image a focus point which is the first thing you look at. The album cover also includes theartists that feature in ‘Azonto’, famous Ghanaian singer Tiffany who also features in the music video. A very commonconvention of digi pack single covers is the artists name and the song in large letters to attract fans and to differentiateitself from other covers, so therefor this convention will feature in my final digi pack.

This image is the album cover of FUSE –ODG’s single ‘Antenna’ . The album cover is brightly coloured, similar to themusic video which is light hearted and uses a variety of primary bright colours. The background on the cover is set in acity scape with bright lights that make the image look very modern and desirable, it also represents the urban vibe ofhis songs which we will replicate in our music video by filming in urban city locations. Fuse is dressed in dark outfit withblack sunglasses blocking his eyes, which is quite controversial as it blocks the connection with the audience, howeverin all of Fuse ODG’s videos he is always wearing sunglasses and is seen as a signature look for him. When looking at allof Fuse ODG’s single covers the colour yellow is predominant which is clearly a key feature of differentiating himselffrom other singers, therefor in my final digi pack we will incorporate the colour yellow to keep with the theme.

This image is the album cover of FUSE –ODG’s complete album ‘The Buzz’. The album cover is incredibly brightlycoloured featuring warm colours that attract the eye. Similar to the other two album covers I have analysed the colouryellow features predominantly, which differentiates Fuse ODG’s album covers and makes his album artwork easilyidentifiable to fans which we will most definitely incorporate in our final digi pack. The image of Fuse on the covercaptures him performing his famous dances routine that features in the Azonto and Antenna music videos. Also theimage of Fuse has him looking directly into the camera, this is to create a relationship and to connect with theaudience and works effectively as it gives the image a focus point which is the first thing you look at. The album coveris also being used as an advertisement as it states where to buy the album from, which makes it even easier for fans topurchase the product and create a larger fan base for Fuse.

These two images are screen shots from Fuse ODG’swebsite. The colour scheme on the website is verysimilar to the ones on his album artwork as it isapparent that yellow is a common theme throughoutall of his digital work. All of the images of Fuse on thewebsite have him dressed in sunglasses and abaseball cap which is also a common conventionthroughout all of his videos which shows that Fusehas a clear brand image that includes statement itemsof clothing and incorporates the colour yellow todifferentiate himself.At the top of the first screen shot it says#antennadance which shows that Fuse ODG hastwitter which allows fans to connect with him easilywhich allows him to have a more desirable fan base asits easy to connect with him and potentially getnoticed by Fuse.The second screen shot includes all of the best videosthat people have taken themselves and interpretedFuse ODG’s music video ‘Antenna’ which they havesent to Fuse for a competition to create the bestone, all in an attempt to get noticed by Fuse andwhere fans can interact and share there passion fordancing and music which inspired us to create ourown music video. This, similar to the # at the top ofthe first screen shot allows fans to easily connect withthe artist and therefor make him a very desirableartist to follow resulting in a large growing fan base.
