Mistakes/Missed Opportunities

More pre-planning time needed

Building more of a community for the event

Settling on a clear plan took to much valuable time

Changed from flash mob to just event

To far spread

The event should have been held in one central area

Page 12: Flash Mob - MCOM42

Content (The good and the Bad)

Every channel was utilized

Needed more cross media integration with each channel should of optimized

Channels that posted before and after shots was a success because it was a way to measure the event

Not enough followers from outside the class used other tools such as Foursquare, Pinterest, Doodly.

Page 14: Flash Mob - MCOM42

Recommendations

More time to build a community

More cross media integration

Event should have been held in only one area

The event should have been held early on (To Cold)

Should of utilized some traditional medias as well

Page 15: Flash Mob - MCOM42

CMOST

Multiple channels were used

All channels should of tried to connect with one another to gain more followers

A few to many unnecessary channels used for the event

Some integration went well (Twitter, Facebook)

Page 16: Flash Mob - MCOM42

Channel Choice

Too many channels were used

Facebook, Twitter and Youtube would be the best tools to approach a flash mob

With tools mentioned above creating a tighter community would have been easier

With three channels mention creating a community and buzz would be more successful

Page 17: Flash Mob - MCOM42

MARCOM

Not enough of a connection to the Fronts

Little to no results were made

Did not target the Fronts fans appropriately

Page 18: Flash Mob - MCOM42

Tactics

Timing need to be changed to an earlier time 4:17 was to late

Engagement, needed more interaction
