supported the Special Olympics
promotion with added purchases
of your favorite products. Your
cooperation not only saved you
dollars in your household

significant dollars for the local
Junction City Special Olympics

if we recall the actual bill making
it a Federal Holiday, it is
Washington’s Day.
5. Want a Deli item but don’t want
to stand and wait for it? Now you
can stop by at the beginning of
your commissary visit and fill out
a special order slip. Once your
order is placed, the Deli will get
it ready and let you know when it
is available for pick-up (in most
cases even before you finish
shopping).
Who’s afraid of cooking from scratch when it’s “Valentine’s Day Brownies”?
Put your “real chef” apron on and prepare to mix flour with two types of chocolate,
eggs and sugar for brownies with a crackly top that literally melts in your mouth. Kay
says, “They’re worth every bit of effort it takes to make them for your sweetheart on
Valentine’s Day, or any other day of the year.” Check the recipe.
