TWITTERTwitter is an online social networkservice and mircoblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to140 characters. I used the twitter programme to followexperts in the media world also I used it to research ourband the maccabees. 5. PREZII used prezi to present my research on the musicvideo genre .I taught myself to use theprogramme Prezi because this is a visuallyinteresting way to show my research into thevideo genre.This is the my Prezi on the musicvideo genre the link is below. 6. MY SPACEA traditional platform for music bands and fans was asite I used extensively to research different bands andmusic videos. particularly the band we chose for ownmedia the maccabees which are a band that use thesocial media site for a lot of their promotion . 7. YOUTUBEI have used YouTube for research and for inviting feedback on my own video work. My school Claremont has its own YouTube channel. I also used the programe DAGADOP . I used the new programme to collectthe videos that i I analysed. This saved time in the research process and helped me to remember which videos to analyse. 8. CELTXI used the design program celtx to plan our performance shots and stage product. If not forthis programme then all of our performance shotswould be left unplanned and would have resulted in a far worst final product. 9. MOBILE PHONEI have used my mobile phone to share ideas andfootage with my peers. Also inside my owngroup to communicate and Coordinate whilemaking the media project. 10. CONSTRUCTION DIGITAL CAMERA, TAPE RECORDERIn our music video we used a number of differentcameras and camera equipment . Firstly weused the nixon SLR which we used for theperformance and design element shots.However we used the sony DCR HC51camerafor the other shots to give a feel of playful fun. 11. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP I used this programme to make digipack and magazine advertisement . I have used thisprogramme before in media studies so I felt comfortable using it in which I did extensively to create and edit the magazine ad / digi-pack.without the use of this programme many of themost modern elements of I project would have notbeen achieved for example the headless bandmembers in the digi pack was achieved usingphotoshop. 12. YOUTUBEI have used YouTube for inviting feedbackon your own video work .My school Claremont has its own YouTube channel.Ihave also used Youtube for research for onthe music video genre.
