These two pictures are the Map Room and the Cabinet War room from the Underground War Rooms in WW ll. The historical significance of these rooms is that they protected Churchill and his top advisors during the time period of the Blitz. These rooms connected to the topic of Winston Churchill which we have covered this year. Churchill decided to stay in London instead of going off somewhere else.

The two pictures are showing the London Eye. The London Eye can carry up to 800 passengers per rotation. Also, it takes

about 30 minutes for one capsule to do a rotation. I want to see the London Eye because I think that would be cool to see the

city of London from different heights. Also, I would love to experience the once in a lifetime ride on a huge Ferris Wheel overlooking London. Last but not least, I think it would be cool to see the London Eye lit up beautifully in the night as seen in

the picture.

The pictures are showing the Shijingshan Amusement Park in China. Instead of this Park duplicating Disney’s ideas and characters they mainly stated that their park was based off of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. I would like to go to this place because I would like to compare this Disneyworld to the actual one located in Orlando, Florida. I also love to go to Disneyworld and it would be great to experience a Disneyworld in another country. Also, this Disneyworld is sure to provide different rides and attractions so that would be cool to experience something different after going to the one in Orlando, Florida so many times.

The pictures are showing the Great Wall of China. This wall has a nickname of the 10,000 Li- Long Wall which means the 5,000- kilometer-Long Wall. The historical significance of the Great Wall is that China built this wall to protect themselves from invaders. This great wall connected to the topic of the Great Wall that we have learned about this year. This Great Wall is historical because it helped protect and defend the Chinese as well as allow them to control trade with other countries.

The pictures are showing the Palace of Versailles. An interesting fact about the Palace of Versailles is that in current day it costs 2 billion dollars. This palace’s historical significance is that Louis XIV chose this palace to stay at while ruling France. The Palace of Versailles is related to Louis XIV who we have studied this year. This Palace is historical because out of all the palaces in the world Louis XIV chose to rule France and stay at the Palace of Versailles and it is a symbol of the monarchy.

These two pictures are showing the Eiffel Tower. At the top of this monumental building you can see around 59 kilometers or around 37 miles. I would like to visit the Eiffel Tower because it is one of the most popular sites in France and I take French as my language so that would be cool to experience the attractions of the French culture. Last but not least, I would like to learn about the history of the Eiffel Tower.

The pictures are showing the original Disneyworld. It takes 62,000 characters to create this magical world’s experience. I would like to go to Disneyworld because I love to ride rollercoasters and that would be so cool to meet all my favorite characters that I have grown up loving. Also, my cousins live In Orlando, Florida so that would be really cool to go to Disneyworld and visit with them. Last but not least, I think it would be very cute to see all the little kids faces light up as soon as they take their first step into the magical world of Disneyworld.

The pictures are showing rooms or places you can go in the Titanic museum. The museum’s tour guide is in

character the whole tour making it memory filling. This museum has historical importance because it

remembers and reminisces on the tragedy of when the Titanic crashed into the iceberg. The museum ties back to the historical comparisons of the ships to Christopher Columbus’ ship. This museum is also historical because this ship was chosen as the first ship to carry people.

The pictures above are showing the Empire State Building. The 1,454 building equipped with 102 floors

cost$40,948,900. I would like to go to the Empire State Building because it is at the heart of New York and is

one of New York’s main attractions. Also, that would be so cool to see the architecture of this building in New York. I also remember seeing this landmark in a movie called Elf and it looked like an interesting and a one of

a kind site.

The pictures above represent the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. This park is very interesting because in the

park the buildings are made to resemble the actual buildings that occurred during the Women’s rights movement. The

sites historical significance is that it revisits the great movement that earned women all their rights. The Park

actually ties into what I was reading which is The Diary of a Young Girl and it ties in because during that period women

did not have rights during this time period. This park is historical because it could have been used as a playground

or one with a pond but instead was used to relive the Women’s rights movement by creating the Women’s Rights

National Historical Park.
