DISTRIBUTION OF OUR PRODUCTION By Hamza Butt & Tristen Smith

Where my product will be distributed Due to technology improving and expanding in the new age it has become easier for us as film producers to distribute our short film to our specific audience. We used many different media platforms to distribute our products. We didn’t use every type of media platform but the most popular ones and the ones that out target audience will use. We concluded to distribute our media product across YouTube using our own channel, same with Facebook and Twitter we made a page dedicated to our film.

Where my product will be distributed

• Other places where I can distribute my films is at film festivals this is a great place to distribute short films as this is where people from target will appear. So my film will be watched at places like this. Film festivals where I can distribute my film is at Leeds film festival 2013 and the 57th BFI film festival.

Reason for choosing these websites

The reasons why I decided to choose Twitter, YouTube and Facebook as platforms to distribute my production was because as I explained in my audience research my main target audience will be University students and aspiring filmmakers. So to capture my target audience and make sure that the right audience are watching my film I decided to choose these three websites to distribute my production. I believe that using these websites I will target the audience that I want.
