INITIAL IDEAS

My first ideas relied on the data I collected from my market research. 25% of people asked suggested that having a booklet with a diary of the band would persuade them to buy it, and this therefore influenced pocket one. 40% then accounted for more artwork and photo’s so I decided to entwine this together and make a booklet full of photo’s and art work. Therefore creating pocket number 2.

Initial ideas

The only magazine I could find that had CD release adverts was NME. When looking at the adverts I noticed that they were often the size of a full A4 side. Although noticeable, this came across as a bit generic and I therefore came up with the idea of a pull out poster. This would entice two audiences’, the ones who already love the band, and those who just want to know what the poster is all about. Thus helping to get a wider amount of people looking at the advert.
