The design of this WebQuest matches one of the eight electives of DSE English Language – Learning English through Social Issues. Our aim is to help students understand issues related to dating more as it is not discussed openly in Hong Kong classrooms.

Scenario

TVB is now hosting a teen dating show and you are asked to be one of the love gurus. Your role is to give advice to the participants of the show who are going to go on a date for the first time.

Task 1

The participants would like to know how to ask a guy/girl out. Read the following websites for some tips, rank the usefulness of the tips and state the reasons for your choices.
